Privacy for text messages?

Is there anything I can do to stop my text messages from displaying
on my screen when they arrive?

Yes, looking for it now. Go to settings, General, passcode lock, show SMS preview.

I believe it requires you to have a passcode lock not sure, I do.

Once 3.0 goes live there is an option in the messages setting to turn off the preview without having to use a passcode.

Correct, but what I'd really like to see is a option to simply have the badge number change with no pop up what so ever like the mail app.

Might stop everyone leaning over to look what it says;/

Looks like it need some work. With all the crappy settings
in Cydia couldn't someone tweak this settings? Will be eagerly awaiting 3.0.
