"Wheels" on icons

I have little "wheels" on the mail, phone, safari, and ipod icons on my iphone. Anybody know what this is? Doesn't seem to be affecting performance.

It's the Backgrounder

Launch Backgrounder, Go Preferences -> Global and turn off BADGES. This will do. I was puzzled by them also, so I looked around and found about in another forum. Cheers!

Don't have BADGES in Preferences-->Global

i believe Backgrounder is a jailbreak app. so if you aren't JB, you shouldn't see this problem.

I actually like the wheels so that I know what is running in the background so I don't accidentally run 20 apps at once and start having my iPhone shut them down on its own.
