How do I get my phone out of recovery mode?

My iphone 3G is stuck in recovery mode and all my attempts to restore factory settings have failed. I was attempting to downgrade from the beta 3.0 os version.

When i hook up i eventually receive the error code stating the iphone could not be restored. An unknown error has occurred (1604).

Also when i hook up it does not recognize my phone as well?

Any suggestions on how i can correct this and get my phone working again??

I'm guessing you are not a true developer or you would know that it is technically not possible to downgrade. That error you are getting is because you can not downgrade the baseband you updated to by installing the 3.0 firmware. There is away around it but you will never get rid of that baseband.

So how do I get it out of recovery mode? Is there a way for me to install the 3.0 os again since i cannot downgrade? thanks again
