my last search is "stuck"

I searched for Chinese food and now i cant clear the results. I have powered down and restarted as well as rebooted the phone. Any ideas??

Search in what app? And what heppens when you try to clear it? Please provide more details.

Have you a tried a restore with iTunes?

Is this Google Maps? If so, most search boxes have a little gray "X" on the right hand side.

If it's stuck the way I think it is then I feel your pain, but I have the solution. Go into one of your contacts that has an address and click on it to locate it on the map and then should be able to take control of the maps again.

Let me know if this worked b/c I might not be saying it exactly right.
