Question before selling iphone

I know some of you guys who are much more tech savvy than me can answer this question. I have a first gen iPhone and want to upgrade to the 3G. If I sell my iPhone what do you suggest I need to do in order to completely clear the phone? Do I just simply restore the phone in itunes? Is it safe to leave the sim card in? Thanks for any suggestions.

Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings.

You are done and all set to sell...
