Help with a promo code?

Hi y'all. I won a free app on one of the iphone contests a while back. I got an email with a promo code in it, but, I can't figure out how to use it.

I'm new to the iphone group, so I'm feeling kinda dumb right now. When I access iTunes, it only wants my account password. I thought it might have gone there, but, nope, I was definitely wrong.

Any help on where/how to apply this code for the free app would be greatly appreciated!!

When in the iTunes store, simply look on the right hand side under quick links. There you will see "redeem". That's where you want to go.
