Hello All,
I'm new here so this is my first post
Hopefully someone else has come across this.
Having read up on this quite a bit, it appears that the iPhone will quite happily sync all data from the PC to the phone itself, however i've been trying to find the answer to the following question.
I need to reinstall my laptop, which will mean that I will have to reinstall most apps and lose all my data. Outlook has decided its going to play stupid beggers with me and not allow me to export all my contacts so that means I won't have a copy of them. Has anyone had this problem and is there a way to sync the iPhone's data back to the PC and repopulate Outlook Contacts etc.
I believe that iTunes will sync with the PC, find there is nothing there and wipe anything on the phone itself because the phones data doesn't appear on the PC.
Also, where does iTunes store the iPhone backups?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Danny
