Exchange / iPhone calendar importing flight schedule

Ok, not sure if anyone has any ideas on this one. Basically my Outlook (w/Exchange) info syncs perfectly over the air with my iPhone calendar. I'm going to NYC on the 31st and decided to import calendar the download from AA.com into Outlook so I could have the times and flight info handy.


I downloaded a file called "reservation.ics" and I double click it and then click save and there it is in outlook, but when I go to the phone there is nothing there. Going in to edit this it looks perfectly normal, so not sure what the deal is.

I'm going to just create my own and copy paste the info in, but would like to know if there is a way to get this to work for the future.

Well in classic form as soon as I finally post a question I figure it out 4 mins later.

Basically I went into the event and then just changed some of the notes (added a space and then deleted it) and then saved it again and then it showed up on the iPhone.
