iPad Air deal at Amazon: Grab the 256GB model at $69 off
- Okay, I got my iPhone replacement today. Two quick questions.
1). Somehow, my calendar setting have changed, and now my default calendar color is a hideous bright yellow. It used to be a muted orange color. Any idey how to change these color settings?
2). When I update an app now, rather than show a faded application icon (sort of transparent) it now show a grey icon with no image when the new app is being installed. Does this happen to anyone else?
When I got the new phone it had firm ware 2.02 on it. I updated to 2.1 and restored from a backup, and now this is happening.
Thanks!

- jamesusTiPb Forum StaffQuickpwn won't connect on my Vista machine. What I going to try and do today is remove the already downloaded FW that iTunes is using and have it redownload. Seems like the FW that is installed is corrupt somehow.
This also happened in some testing I did by restoring a jailbroken backup. The device was not jailbroken and Quickpwn did not connect either. Performed the restore and then Quickpwn connected just fine. Just one more reason to let the world know not to restore a jailbroken backup!11-03-2008 08:49 AMLike 0 - JeremyRetired ModeratorQuickpwn won't connect on my Vista machine. I know contacts and calendar will restore from Outlook after doing a clean restore, but is there any way to preserve other app settings?
I am JB'ed right now, but would like to restore when 2.2 drops.11-03-2008 02:30 PMLike 0 - JeremyRetired ModeratorI'm running out of room... time to clean that up I think.
I understand the rationale for not restoring a JB'ed backup, but won't I lose all of my application settings? For instance, I'd hate to lose all my accumulated winnings in Hold 'Em Poker and start from the garage again...
