SMS Memory Leak?

After observing the SMS application for a few days now, I think that it has a memory leak. The reason I think this is because when I first boot my phone SMS will type nice and fast. Over time, it gets slower and slower, until it crashes. This is pretty typical behavior of a memory leak.

Has anyone else noticed this slow down to a crash, then once the SMS app is reloaded its fast?

Nothing like that here. And I text a awful lot a month... before the update I noticed slow down every once in a while but it seemed more random than anything. I say this a lot but maybe you would benefit from a restore from scratch and not a backup.... just a guess.

The only slow down I am noticing is with keyboard lag. It gets very annoying after awhile. The only fix for this I know is to restart the iphone. From the web surfing I have done, it seems to be a software issue. If so, I hope this gets fixed very soon.
