Wifi confusion

Hello all.
I am new to the 3g/iPhone and had a question. IF I disable 3G and activate wifi and connect to my home network, when Im browsing the web with my 3G am I using ATT connection or does all connectivity default to my WIFI? I want to do browsing/youtube etc all with my wife connection and not ATT.

Well if you disable 3g and activate wifi obviously you are using the wifi connection. Even if you left 3g enabled and had wifi on, if it picks up the wifi signal you will be using that. Hope this helps.

okay. so does this mean when surfing on Safari, using Youtube app, AOL Radio, etc while on my wifi network I am not using any of ATT bandwidth? And that even with 3G enbabled parrell to 3G, the iPhone will automatic default to the WIFI for net data?

As long as you see the wifi signal on the phone... you are using the wifi.
