Hi all, its really weird, that in the US the phone is supposedly for sale for US$200 and here the cheapest phone i've managed to find is $850 through Optus as a pre-paid. Does anyone have any idea when we'll see the $200 phones in Australia? I'm really annoyed as I gave up waiting for the iPhone to reach Australia and recently changed phone companies so am stuck with Telstra for the next 12 months even though I didnt get didly squat from them. Anyone have any ideas to shed? Its a real shame that Apple Australia are providing no information, nor do they offer any form of communication with them via email or the like. Would love to hear from anyone with info on Australia!

Cheers

:)

that $200 dollars price is untouchable... that was just a marketing strategy... Because the contract is the thing that makes money...

Im from Mexico and Im as disappointed as you... here the iphone price without contract is like 900 dollars... that's crazy...
