As far as smart phones...I started with a BBCurve on ATT and loved the curve. Then I bought a used 2g iPhone and loved it! After switching to Verizon, I went to a storm, then to a curve, then back to the storm. I then quit verizon (due to an AWFUL customer service experience, and being on my 4th storm which was dying more everyday) and went back to ATT with a brand new iphone 3gs. i havent looked back since!

Samsung BJ - Couldn't beat the price and found the functionality just as good as the more expensive ones.

I don't receive phone calls, save from the Mrs. My iPhone is used almost exclusively as a PDA. I have a LAN at home with some pretty great machines, but the iPhone is the most useful of them all. It is the first truly useful and practical computing device I have owned- that is, until my 3G network slowed to a crawl.

    Bad

I had a blackberry bold. It was a great device and I never had any issues. But I wanted a touchscreen device that would offer the same functionality but a better user experience. I think I have found it with the iPhone 3GS.

Like many others here, I had the Blackberry Storm. Based on my personal experience and a former business consultant in the wireless field I absolutely couldn't wait on the release of the Storm. I was hesitant to jump on the iPhone like the millions that have today. However, I felt like there were just too many setbacks on the device. To begin, the design was poor and whoever came up with the click-touch screen must not have anticipated the damage to the screen just from the use of email and text messaging. Also the browsing was not fast like they insisted. In my opinion, when it comes to internet browsing on a smartphone, there is no other device out there that can match the superiority of the iPhone's browsing capabilities. Enough said, the iPhone is in a class of it's own. I'm absolutely happy with my 32G 3G S.
