I haven't had much of a chance to play the new one yet. I assume they changed the engine somewhat to more closely match the binary versions of the game, but who knows. I wonder what their revenue model is for this. That, to me, is the missing link. In my case I just want to pay for my server, but I assume popcap wants a profit
Another thought - i always assumed popcap would be one of the firms that apple would deign to allow to write native iphone software for sale on itunes. Maybe the free bejeweled will convince apple to do so, or maybe this means there never will be a native version. Just something to ponder.
