3gs jailbreak

I tried to jailbreak my locked iphone with redsnow.It seemed to work but I don't think it did.The cydia app is on screen but it won't open and now I have no browser.I'm not getting my emails either.I can still go on facebook through the app shortcut.Can I restore through I tunes?Should I have unlocked first? Any insight would help thanks

Need more info to help u. What iOS is on ur 3GS? What version of redsn0w did u use?
