Shorter battery life after ios5

Since I upgraded to ios5 on my 3G phone, battery life is less than six hours. I've followed all the generic tips to extend battery life, but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions? I'm not able to upgrade to a 4 for another year ...

I 've iOS5 version is going to charge six hours. immediate updates port.

you can downgrade your firmware or try closing any apps on your multi board that might be running in the back ground by double tapping your home button then hold on the app and then close them. that should help
