so what is a 3GS worth these days?

i'm asking because i'm sure some of us might want to sell their 3GS's to help pay for an upgrade to a newer iPhone. i'm selling my unlocked 16GB 3GS on craigslist for $220. but am seeing some for as low as $165. so what are your opinions on this?

I sold my 3GS jailbroken and unlocked with ultrasn0w for $350 back in June on eBay. Probably worth a lot less now. My iPhone 4 still has unlockable baseband on it, but I'll probably keep it for a while been after my 4S gets here Friday.

Back when I bought my iPhone 3GS 16gb brand new, it was ~$450 in value (January).
Right now I see a lot of new still ending around 300ish. And used is around 170ish but they are not jailbroken or unlocked.
So I think you might be able to get around 200 for yours, if the condition is good.

I bought my 32GB white 3GS back in the day w. no contract for $600. The Apple store says a replacement phone costs $229, so I wouldn't pay any more than that for a used one. I imagine somewhere between $160-200 would be a good deal for a 3GS depending on condition / storage size.

Some of my friends also sell their iPhone for about $200 last June and it's immediately sold out.
