iPhone 3GS SIM problems...

Hi, my iPhone 3GS sim is stuck inside the tray, and the access hole to open it up is blocked by a toothpick I was prying inside. Is there a way to get the sim tray and the sim out by opening the back panel up? Thanks

Oops! You should always open the SIM tray with something that won't break, like a paper clip or something but I'm sure you figured that out already...

You could probably get to it if you disassemble your phone however you may inadvertantly damage the phone. You're best bet would be go to an Apple Store if you have one around.

If you want to attempt this, you have to carefully open your iPhone without damaging the number 1, 2 and 3 connectors inside. To open the phone, just remove the two bottom screws and gently pry the screen out with a suction cup. Be careful removing the sim card tray since you can damage the sim card reader under the card. Never try to force anything.
