pics, music, apps, were is this information stored ? Is it part of the mother board assembly ? Can i swap it from one 3g phone to another to retrieve my lost information ??

How about using a backup file on your computer... ?

it all was 2 internal drives shot, and external back up drive wasted. Apple claims they do a one time restore of music and apps that you have purchased. All other music and pics trying to save with a swap. It was a technological meltdown in a matter of 2 weeks time.
