Back arrow at top left of screen takes multiple presses.

Is anyone else finding that the back arrow is sometimes dead? I have to hit it 10 times sometimes to get it to actually register. This happens in pretty much any app that has a back arrow. Thanks.

I’ve not encountered any problem with what you’ve described. What iOS version are you running and have you tried rebooting your iPhone or selecting the “Rest All Settings” option?

Iphones have always had this issue from my experience it's never easy. This is why the buttons on Android are superior.

Usually I just swipe to go back, but on the off chance I decide to use the button it always works.

I realize this isn't helpful, but I've never experienced any issues. I would try what @Just_Me_D suggested. If that doesn't work, you may want to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store, or, contact Apple Support.

I use to have this issue going back to my iPhone 5 then I realized that I was tapping to far right and now I tap it just over the point and never miss

My back buttons are either white or blue. They work fine for me.

I have rebooted yes, but it either doesn’t help or the problem returns. It happens randomly. I am on 15.2 but it happened on all versions. Unless the problem really is me. Seems most in here find it fine.

I have noticed that the “return to portrait layout” on youtube has become less sensitive on my 2017 iPad recently, I blame YouTube !
