Even after the rumor of a possible Rose Gold 13 Pro/Max, I’m still sticking to my guns and not upgrading. Instead I am putting money aside every month for next year’s iPhone and Apple Watch.

From reading a few articles and looking at TMobiles inventory the iPhone 12 series seems to be going away. Some say that apple wants to only have the 13 lineup and minimize the amount of devices they have due to the chip shortage.

I don't see enough changes in the 13 Pro Max to make me want to upgrade my 12 Pro Max that's working just fine. I always like the BEST camera, but I really am doing fine with the 12 ProMax camera now. I can't justify the upgrade if you can even really call it much of an upgrade. May upgrade my Apple Watch 6 to the 7 though. On the fence about that one.

Depending on that Apple / T-Mobile gives for the 11 Pro Max, I may upgrade. Then again, I may not.

I'm considering trading my 11 Pro for a 13 Pro.

Apple would give about 530$ in trade-in value for my phone, kicking the price of the 128GB 13 Pro to about 850$. The outright price for the 13 Pro being 1399$.

Decisions, decisions and headaches inbound.

I don't do trade-ins. Much better money selling unwanted devices. IMHO of course.
That said, I will be preordering a 13 Pro Max 1TB.
I've got 15 days to return it if I don't feel its worth it.

The biggest thing when getting a new device is finding a case I like!
It's almost fun. Almost.

p.s. When will the iPhone 13 forums be created? It's been almost a day since they were announced!

You’ll only get a design change every 2-4 years. This new device is technically a 12s. Not sure why they didn’t go with that.

The iPhone just had a design change from the 11 to the 12 and one of the main reasons I upgraded. They went from a round edge back to the flat edge. For me that was a significant design change to be honest.

The differences between the 12 and 13 are very small and not worth the upgrade IMO. The pro motion is controled by the phone you can't keep it at 120.

I disagree. I feel like the 120 refresh rate, bigger battery and newer chip are all worth upgrading.

I’m not sure what some people were expecting quite honestly.
