    Is there a widget for google news for ios? on a pixel there's a left most screen dedicated to news. i select topics i want to follow and it gives me those on my feed. is there anything like that for the iphone, google news or something else? i use it a lot. thanks.

    You can do that too, but not with Google. Apple News has a ton of different topics you can subscribe to that's just as good (or better) as google news.

    There is a widget for it that does what you want I believe.

    Unfortunately the Google Now feature is not available as a widget on iOS. You can download the Google app and turn on the Discover option for the same feed.

    yea that but can i put it on it's own homescreen? on the pixel it's called a briefing where a select few of the news of that day are displayed on the left most screen. no need to open the app.

    flipboard doesn't usually give me the same news. i tried both

    You can do that too, but not with Google. Apple News has a ton of different topics you can subscribe to that's just as good (or better) as google news.
    oh? is there a particular app? and can i have an entire homescreen of feed? like the newsfeed will be there ready to read without opening the app?

    Yeah. Like on a Pixel, swipe left and the it'll be right there.

    No you will not be have the feed on the home screen. Google has not allowed this in any of their widgets.
