So, today, is 8 days that I have been using the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Nice device, and does what Apple says it will do.

However, I am coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max. And, to be honest, the main difference I 'feel' is the shape of the device.
Yes, I know the camera has lots of upgraded features. But...

Anyway, I have been reviewing the MBA and MBP. And, I am seriously considering purchasing one. With that in mind, I feel it might be more practical and financially viable to return my iPhone 12 Pro Max, and purchase a MBA or MBP; either one running an M1 chip.

Hmm, decisions decisions.

PS: Not looking for answers per se'. Merely conversating...

Returning your iPhone Pro Max and getting a new MacBook is indeed practical and something you should consider, especially since you already have an iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The significant difference between the 11 and 12 is one can do 5g and the other can’t. About the only other improvement that stands out to me is being able to record in Dolby Vision.

But basically, if you don’t need 5g then the 11 pro Max is plenty.

This fence is getting rather hard to sit on.
I looked into a trade-in, at Apple. Something like $600. Honestly, that could go towards an M1.

Alas, if I did purchase an M1, I would have to find an alternative for Parallels and a Windows VM. Nothing major, as it is more of an just in case...
