I’m on T-Mobile and we only have low band 5G here in NV. Mid band expected by the end of 2020. Not bad for low band 5G.

I got 107.74 down and 52.34 up on T-Mobile around noon today. My speeds have improved since the merger with Sprint -- and 5G makes them even faster.

They will get much faster once you get mid band 5G. It’s rolling out constantly. I’m getting 80-300 on low band now. My area should get mid band any day now.

I’m really not seeing speeds that some are posting. On low band 5G at my house I’m getting at 64 down and 30 up. There’s an area by my job that has the Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband. I’ll head over there tomorrow and run some tests. Looking forward to see just how fast it is

I love the coverage in the valley... I’m waiting for the Max, but this makes me feel good about the performance I can expect.

This isn’t everywhere speeds. Just the fastest I’ve found in my short testing Friday after I activated it.

There's a lot that can affect signals. Trees, tall buildings, mountains and hills, metal in buildings, etc.

Where I live TMobile 4g LTE is actually a bit faster than their 5g. I have fiber internet at home so mostly use wifi. Have not tested speeds in other areas yet.

When I first tried a Galaxy S20, I had that same issue -- 5G was frequently about the same or slower than LTE. That really seemed to change after the Sprint merger was approved, with 5G speeds (and LTE speeds) frequently improving. Now, in my home, 5G speeds can range from 50 - 150 Mbps during the day (I'm guessing due to congestion) and will be over 200 Mbps late night/early morning. Speeds between the iPhone (even on Auto mode) and the S20 are similar, from what I've seen.

I ran the test after I set up my new phone. I did turn off the WiFi. Once the test was complete, I turned it back on. A couple of hours later, I saw the thread. I just went into the results list, and grabbed the screenshot. But, it does show at the bottom, it was connected to Verizon 5G service.

Ok so after going to work today and finding a 2 block radius in Manhattan that has the Verizon 5G UW (Ultra Wideband) and I decided to head over there for a couple of speed tests and man did the speeds blow my socks off. HOLY CRAP!! 912 down and 58 up

IMO it isn’t (AT&T). I only upgraded to downsize from the Pro Max. I’m happy with the Pro size.
