iPhone 12/Mini/Pro/Max Preorder/Shipping/Delivery Thread

Is everyone ready to order their new iPhone 12? Which version, storage size and color are you ordering? I’m preordering the 12 Pro Max 256GB/512GB in Silver. I decided on blue but don’t like the shade that was leaked a few hours ago.

Summary of what "news" there is so far:

iPhone 12 coming in a 5.4" and 6.1" model
iPhone 12 Pro coming in a 6.1" and 6.7"
All models being OLED
120Hz refresh rate on higher models
Design changes more akin to the iPad Pro range
reduced notch (not based on some news today)

Yes I have. None of them offer a replay or a rewind. They all carry on from where the stream is now.

Thanks, just tried them and it's basically commentary from the CNET team interspersed with a few seconds of grab from the live video, followed by more discussion.

I guess I shall have to wait until it's over then watch it when I next have free time. If only I had managed to get back from work on time this morning. Bleurgh.

I love watching these live and seeing the information unfold in front of me, rather than reading or watching someone else's interpretation of it, so I shall have to avoid the internet for the next couple of days! ><

I know i'm putting more importance on these events than should be but I do love them and in this current 2020 world I have to take what joy I can find. Pretty lame, huh?

I'm pre-ordering! Honestly on the fence between 12 Pro and Pro Max.

The larger form factor of the Max is more of a con for me; so it really comes down to how much "better" the camera is in the Max vs. the 12 Pro...

Me too! I won't be ordering until December... so I hope to be able to actually check them out and see if I can handle the size of the pro-max.

I did not hear the 120hz refresh rate? Did I miss something?

I am not sure I want to carry a device the size of the iPhone 12 Max around in my pocket however I am very interested in the 12 Pro and have a month or so to decide .

The Pro models start at 128gb. No 64gb.

I'm getting the iPhone 12 Super Pro Max³, but will wait until probably December. Santa has spoken.

Not me! I had already decided that I was going to keep my 11 pro max another year, and the Apple event did not change my mind at all! Maybe next year…

If you were deciding between the two today, which would you buy and why. I am moving over from Samsung because their service is horrible. Not sure if I should grab an 11 pro max or wait for the 12 pro max?

That was a rumor. I already knew from the rumors it would start 128/256/512.

I’m now undecided on Pacific Blue, Silver and Gold in 256GB.

I am almost positive I will be pre-ordering the 12 Pro this Friday, in Pacific Blue, 256GB. I just don’t think the extra zoom is enough of a factor/benefit to get me to change up the entire way I handle my phone and give up the extra pocketability.

The actual screen size (6.1 vs. 6.7) doesn’t do *too* much for me; my move up to the Max would be based on camera specs only and I don’t think the benefits outweigh the costs to me.
