iPhone 12/Mini/Pro/Max Preorder/Shipping/Delivery Thread

This is the second time that I can recall when Apple 'split' release dates. They did this with the 8 and X, and now with the 12 and 12 Pro Max versions. I don't like this different release dates stuff and it removes the excitement of everyone getting the iPhone model of their choosing on the same release date.

If anyone has a late delivery you can check the Apple Store app. Plenty of inventory for pickup popping up for between today and Sunday.

Ours are on the truck. Too bad UPS is always the last of the deliveries around here even though the warehouse is 5 minutes away. The follow your delivery feature on the map is just pure torture as you watch the truck circle around you but never stop. Ours says 12:15-4:15, but I would expect it to be closer to the end of that window or more likely even later.

Mine is on the truck with a delivery window of 3-7pm (as of last night, it had said 9pm). I’m expecting arrival on the later end, if last year was any indication with the 11 Pro.

You know, I've never lived in an area to where I'm in the first delivery slots for UPS or FedEx.

To add, there is a UPS Depot literally 4 minutes from my house! I could walk to the place...

Well i got a delivery today. Otterbox symmetry for the iPhone 12 pro max. I own a 11 pro max with the same cover. Side by side the 12 cover is only a tiny bit taller hardly noticable.
One thing to note is the camera bump is a lot bigger.

Screen protectors are now on, and in cases.. I could never use without a case. Fear of dropping it aside, the edges get finger prints sooooo easily.

Got my gold pro a couple of hours ago. The size is just right! Big enough, but so much more comfortable than my 11 pro max. And it feels light. This is a very classy and tasteful gold in my opinion!

I have to say I'm still pretty confused about UPS' drop-off/route method. I've been following the map in the background and the driver has been dropping off at residences "in my area" all morning; he/she was even around the corner (maybe 6 houses away) and across the street. Now the same truck is in a commercial area directly outside my neighborhood. Very odd ... it's like they can't deliver iPhones before a certain time?

There is no chance in hell I'm going to use a case on this thing. However, I am really disappointed that Apple didn't bother making a bumper case for this thing. If they made their silicone cases with a lip at the bottom which kind of interferes with the swipe up then I don't see why they couldn't do the bumper. I never took that thing off my 4 or 4S.
