I ordered the 12 Pro, 256gb, graphite at 8:00 edt. And will be picking it up on 10/23.

I set my alarm for 4:50 am. Opened up my MacBook a couple of minutes later and preorder was open already. Took maybe 2 mins to order. I went with blue because blue is my favorite color so with this being the first blue iPhone, it was a no brainer for me.

I use to always have my pre-orders set for pick up at Apple but now with COVID and my company having us working from home, its nice to just have it shipped to my house and not have to deal with lines at Apple. Lol.

I ordered a 64gb iPhone 12 non-pro in White. I have had either red or black iPhones since....well, forever. Decided it was time for some light in my life. Lol. I really struggled with this decision(12 vs mini) and battery life tipped it for me. I just can't stand having to plug my phone in more than once a day. The SE2020 has the worst battery life I've ever experienced on an iPhone and I'm not going through it again. I know the battery on the mini is bigger, new chip etc, but from what I've read, it'll still need charged way more. I hope I'm wrong for those that get them!

I have several friends who are also saying the same thing. They really don’t need 5G and their device is paid for. With the current state of the economy and the CV19 issues, might be the smart move.

Oddly, back in April, I had just purchased full price, a Note. Within a few days of purchasing it, I was made redundant. I returned the phone, and stuck with my iPhone.

Come November, if life spare, I will purchase the iPhone 12 Pro Max. After all, we only live once and all that. So...

I have gone to Apple Stores a few times and they manage the lines and people in stores quite well. Appointments are now required to go in the store.

Maybe for the current moment, but I can’t see appointments being the future. I shouldn’t have to make an appointment to buy something.

I would just buy it online and save the time and gas!! I want to touch it and feel it before I buy and that shouldn’t require and appointment.

ordered a 12 blue 128gb (upgrading from an 8). i initially was going to get the 12 pro until i saw the colors released. blue is my fav color but i'm not wild about that blue/green (pacific blue). i don't take a ton of pics, so camera isn't super important to me. so yeah i saved myself $150 by basically following my heart with my fav color :heart:
seeing all the 12 pros being ordered tho, i probably didn't need to be up at 8est for pe-order lol :laughing:
