How much storage should I get for iPhone 11?

I have had an iPhone 7 Plus for two years. It has 128 GB. I have used 28GB. I use it mostly for email, texts, Internet and taking photos. (I have over 9000 photos and a handful of videos). Now I am upgrading to the iPhone 11. Do you think 128 GB will be enough? Or should I spend the extra $100 for 256 GB? Thank you.

Being you used less than 30GB, 64 seems plenty. With that being said, if you are worried that over the next few years you are going to download large files, pay for more storage.

It depends how heavy you gonna use media.
That new camera setup screams for taking a lot of pictures and videos!
If you are into that and want the best quality (4K video) - I'd at least go with that 128GB version.

Had that same question for myself when I was ordering my iPhone 8 (back in 2017), there were two storage options (64GB and 256GB) - so I got the 256GB and never regretted it!
Now, I'm at around 120GB of videos, pictures and music data, which still gives me enough room to play further with it.

But it depends on your usage behavior.

I agree, for $50 to double the storage...if you can swing it, this would be the way to go

I was in line with a kid that refused to pay the $50 for the 128. I was just thinking to my self that he’d be sorry in a year or so. He was coming from a 5C so he doesn’t exactly go through phones yearly. Lol.

I agree

To me storage is like horsepower, I want it there when I need it

I’ve typically only used 32GB on any phone I’ve owned but sprung for the 128GB model just because it’s cheap insurance against running out of storage space and I’m looking to start camping and may want to use the camera more often than I currently do.

My girl has a moto x4 and coming from a 16gb phone before I thought 32 would be plenty. Instead of spending the extra $150 on the 64gb model I ended up getting the 32 and then 9 months later dropping another $400 for a 64gb model. Needless to say her daughter got a sweet 32gb less than a year old phone

I always get the smallest I use the cloud for almost everything music movies and files. This way I can access all of my files from any device I own. I do own the note 10 plus and installed an SD card and put movies on the card so I can watch if internet isn't available.
