My 11 Pro has arrived but....

Ok so I turned it on, went through the setup process, choosing transfer all from old phone to new phone then it required an iOS update, it downloaded the update and now it’s just stuck on this. (See image)

Anyone else have this?

Go into Phone Storage and delete the update files. There’s an issue with these updates. I had to reset the phone to get my 11 Pro to finally update.

I thought of that just before your reply lol, it’s updating now

I’ll do a reset after and set up again with it being on 13.1 cos my IPhone X is on 13.1. I think it was the difference in iOS that was the problem?

Thank you, I really wasn’t going to upgrade from my X, but I just got so tempted by the camera and the fact it’s the newest iPhone, couldn’t help myself

Unable to join the happyness about this 'solution' - where would 'update files in phone storage reside', and/or how to delete them?
I faced exactly the same issue as the OP, and here is what I did:

• twice: reset phone, start over - same result. Stuck at 'install now'
• rejected restore from old phone - same issue.
• turned old phone off before 4th reset of new phone - same issue.
• connected new phone to Mac, tried to restore from old phone backup - iOs upgrade requested - stuck forever at 'downloading'.
• turned everything else (Mac, iPad, old phone) off, 6th or 7th reset of new phone - set it up as brand new phone.
• after initial setup, turned Mac back on, connected the new phone, started iOS upgrade. It SEEMED to work, however Catalina/Finder doesn't tell you ANYTHING about progress except a 'downloading' message, which never changes and never goes away. Frustrating wait, with no clue about whether or not something was happening at all. Hint: open the settings/iOS update page ON THE IPHONE, and you will see that there IS progress. I found out by accident.
• IOS update went well.
• After update, I restored the backup that I previously made from the old phone on the Mac. This also went well, and FINALLY my new phone was where I wanted it to be.

I usually migrate from an old to a new iPhone 2 or 3 times per year, but never ever experienced it to be such a miserable process. Not a glorious chapter, Apple.

Picked up my green X Pro 64 last Sunday and bought the last one in the store. Took about 40 minutes to restore the device from my iCloud backup and I was up and running.
