Why won’t the red badge notification display for the App Store app?

am i missing something or is there no red badges in the app store notification? I have everything turned on and it still doesn't give me a notification.Did they elimination that notification on the last update(14.1) ?

Welcome to iMore. It's working on iOS 14.1....try a hard reset ( logo screen).

Mine hasn’t worked in a long time. I don’t recall it working in 13 either.

Figured it out already. Go to settings then App Store. Disable auto update setting.
