Should I be concerned about my maximum battery capacity being 92%?

Re: Battery

92% after almost a year is not bad. How often do you upgrade your iPhone? Your battery should go more than another year.

Re: Battery

As stated above, 92% isn’t bad at all. Do you let your battery completely drain before charging? Anyway, I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max that I’ve had since last September and my maximum battery capacity is still 100%. With that being said, I charge my iPhone overnight while I sleep

I try not to let it die or get close to it. I also leave it charging over night.

Re: Battery

I think your battery is fine. That percentage is based on charge cycles, a charge cycle is any cycle from 0-100%, which could be two charges if 50-100%. So generally speaking, the more you use your phone the sooner you'll need to replace the battery. You should still get 2+ years out of a battery. I play Pokemon Go and I haven't used my iPhone as my main in a bit (and PoGo doesn't work on iOS 14 right now). However, my XS Max is saying it's at 96%, though I have seen it say lower. That percentage seems to be more of a general awareness thing.

Re: Battery

i have apple care so if it gets worse i guess ill just get it replaced.

I got my 6s Plus new about 20 months ago. The battery is at 91%. I try to extend the life by plugging it in when I do battery intensive things, like app updates, using apps I know use a lot of battery, OS updates, etc. It seems to help.

Re: Battery

I got my 11 pro max at launch so almost a year of use and it’s down to 97% battery health. I think that’s pretty good.

Re: Battery

8 Months and 98%

This is the biggest battery Apple put in an iPhone so there will be a lot of longevity I predict

Oct 3 will be 24 months for me, my battery reading has been rather suspiciously stuck at 85% for some months now, and am expecting some movement once Apple care+ is over !
But my phone appears to be functioning flawlessly and “Battery health” tells me I am charging to 100% ( of 85%) which I make out to be 85%,!!? 92% seems good to me.
