i've heard of this problem but i've never had until i got the 11 pro max.
it just keeps rapidly connecting and disconnecting when i plug it into my MacBook air.
things i've already tried:
- using another apple cable, a couple anker ones too
- power cycled my mac and iphone
- erased and reinstalled both mac and iPhone
- smc and nvram reset
- plugging into both ports on my mac.
- tried someone else iPhone 7 and it works perfect
- i don't have another mac to try that with my 11 pro max
- killing the 'usbd' process
- reset location and privacy settings.
- mac and iPhone are up to date
those are all the tips i read online. still no luck.
any ideas ?
i really need to plug it in for a iTunes backup and some photos syncing.
i've ordered usb hub from amazon to try that
**update**
anker non powered usb hub solves problem. will just keep using that until one day i assume macOS software update solves issue.
**update 2**
just switched to a 11 pro NON Max and having same exact issue.
