Is there a big difference in battery life between the 11 pro max and the XR ?

I had the XR for about 2 months before the 11 pro max and I see much better battery life with my pro max. Don’t get me wrong the XR has amazing battery life but for me the pro max has just been so so much better. But I also never had iOS 13 on the XR either so I’m not sure if that would make a difference.

My son has the iPhone X🅁 and battery life, according to him, is amazing. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and the battery life with it is also amazing.......Which has the better battery life based on ‘my usage’? I don’t know, but I can tell you that you should be pleased with the battery life of either device, in my opinion.

Same here. The battery life of my Pro Max is much better and definitely noticeable compared to my Max.

While I never had any of the X series, I upgraded to the Max from the 7 Plus and this is what I’m seeing:

I’m in Lake Lure, NC, and depending where I am in the house, I go from full LTE to one bar of LTE. Yesterday I watched YouTube TV for a while, played on social media, took a ton of pictures, and turned on my hotspot and connected my iPad and watched a couple of movies. All on LTE as there is no WiFi here.

Took the phone off the charger yesterday morning at 7am and reconnected it last night about 11:45pm and still had 43% battery left.

The battery on this phone is insane. It’s also brand new so I’m also curious to see how it is in 6 months.

Well in 6 months it shouldn’t age that much. If you plug it in every night at 50% and charge to 100% it should last a long time. That is only counting as a half charge cycle and that should be good for 1000 times. As most of these battery’s are only hold got 300-600 charge cycles. so if we estimate that around 500 for an even number and each day is around 50% depletion then I can get 1000 days before it hits around 80% of its rated life.

The Xr has great battery life, but the Pro Max is noticeably better battery life

It’s all relative to your usage.
Yes, the 11 has better battery life per all the tests. I have an Xr and it’s battery life is excellent and easily fulfills my needs. In other words, I’m not going to upgrade based on battery alone (I’m not upgrading anyways).

My nephew owned a XR and upgraded to a 11 Pro Max and he says there is a big difference in the battery life and he is glad he upgraded.
