Finally got around to installing tonight. Gonna have to get used to the new widget style. I’ve been used to keeping the pinned column in landscape view but the only option now seems to be the usual slide over or actually putting widgets on the Home Screen just like apps. Really it will just push me to organize my home screens better. They are a little but not nearly as tightly as my iPhone and now that it gets the app drawer I’m probably going to clean up a lot of stuff.
One disappointing aspect of the new widgets is the old style that live in a single group there is no way to put that on the Home Screen and apps like MyFitnessPal and Ecobee don’t seem to have the newer iPadOS 14+ style widgets still.
