I would think that the newer iPad pros might make more use out of iOS 13. But that’s just me thinking. I have the 2018 12.9” iPad Pro with 4gb of RAM. I’m wondering if there is going to be any difference in the RAM that’s in the iPad pros. I almost got the 6gb one but I canceled it and got the 4gb 512gb one. I don’t think I made a mistake on it. Wasn’t really sure what I was going to do with 6gb of RAM anyway.

This is how an iPad should be, iPadOs gave me the ability to remove all other computers by allowing external ssd to be used properly and the mouse support. i hope Apple continuos with this path and polishes iOS > towards a full blown tablet OS.

I am somewhat apprehensive about iPadOS, I hope it is useful but am concerned that it will just be more emojis, restaurant locations and other stuff I don’t need.

Currently running 13 beta on my IPP 9.7". Lots of improvements but nothing I'm doing backflips over.

I must be the only person on earth who is NOT excited about this. Frankly, I wish I had the option to install iOS 13 instead of this iPadOS. Nothing in iPadOS interests me.

If I wanted a Mac laptop, I would buy a Mac laptop. I like the simplicity of iOS. Adding all of this stuff to iOS is only going to make it bigger and more complicated.

I will be staying on iOS 12.4.1.

I’m really looking forward to iPad OS! The new multitasking, UI and home screen/widgets etc look really useful and will no doubt make using the iPad for business or work easier and more intuitive. Yes, there are some users who won’t like the new UI but the iPad Pros in particular seem to be marketed towards those who want a tablet that can also function as a laptop for light business uses like making presentations, multitasking etc.

Apart from the odd UI change, everything that we currently like about iOS is still there :)

Content is being added, not removed so it can only get better!

Hopefully iPad OS will also receive the customisation features we’re expecting for iOS 13 as well.

I B am looking forward to getting it. I use my iPad more than my Mac Pro

I find using an iPad Pro more convenient (especially multitasking) than a MacBook....I don’t need the extra power, software smarts or features that a Mac has (and with iPad OS the software gap is narrowing).

That said, Windows is probably the best for a business PC

I like my Mac Pro. I don’t like windows PC. I use it still but my iPad is just more convenient at times. I will never stop using my Mac

Just updated my iPad to the new iPad OS...loving the new home screen and ‘Today View’! The slight changes to the UI are also welcome.

Gives the home screen a much slicker look. The variety of colours is also nice :)
