Why did my iPad suddenly lose alot of the text I typed? I was working on a document in Pages for iPad and flipping back and forth between apps. One time when I flipped back to Pages, it had suddenly lost a lot of the text I typed. Is there any way I can restore this text? Does anyone know why this happened? I can’t find the “versions” button when I select a document in the document viewer either but I figured that might be from an app update or something?

Just like with using a word processing app on a computer, it is recommended that you save your progress frequently, especially if you’re going to be switching between apps.
