Which iPad for photo editing?

Hi, looking to trade-up from Air 2 to Pro but can't decide on 9.7 or 12.9 size?

I'm editing photos on the move using Lightroom Mobile but not 100% convinced larger Pro is of that much benefit. Seems to be better colour gamut and true tone on smaller iPad although nicer to see photos larger.

Any photo editors here?

While I'm not a professional photo editor by any means I think you'll get truer color out of the smaller iPad Pro. Another consideration is size. I own a 12.9" Pro and absolutely love it but it's huge. If you're going to be using your iPad on the move the smaller one may actually be easier to handle.

I don't have either one. But I do a lot of photo editing on my iPhone 6s Plus. My choice would be the smaller iPad Pro for photo editing. This article explains many of the differences.
