    Welcome to iMore! What happens when you open your Mail app? Do you get an error message? Has it worked in the past? Have you tried resetting your iPad? Reset your device by holding the power button and home button down simultaneously until you see the Apple boot logo.

    Sounds like you don't have an Internet signal. Or a weak signal. Try rebooting your wifi modem/router. Do you get Cellular?
