Transferring music from iPhone 4S to iPad 2

I have a couple of gigs of music stored on my iPhone that I owned prior to owning an Apple device. I want to transfer this music to my iPad. Both devices are running iOS 8.1. What's best and most efficient way of doing this?

I've always got all my music through iTunes. I know some folks use Dropbox.
