iPad as a second Wired Win10 Monitor?

wondering if anyone knows of a bullet proof way to share my iPad as a second windows 10 monitor ... going to be traveling. I tries a few wireless ones and they seem to be a bit flakey. Like the idea of hard wired via USB to lighting

If you are going to be in a hotel room, why not bring an HDMI cable and connect to the TV?

You could check out Duet Display. I've used it before. It works, though it didn't really work great for what I was hoping to use it for and since I was just using it at home I eventually ended up with a second monitor instead. It worked well though from a technical standpoint.
