iPad Camera facing user won't work

My iPad suddenly won’t use the camera facing the user for photo booth or camera app. If I try to turn around the camera in those apps it blurs or just gos back to facing away.

It works properly for FaceTime and my third party mirror app. It works for video in camera app but not for still photos or square photos.

I have quit the offending apps, I have restarted the device. I deleted photo booth and redownlaoded it.

So clearly the problem is software related. It worked an hour ago!

It is an iPad Pro Mm272LL/A. Running Beta os 12; the camera had worked with the beta for several days.

I recommend you reinstall the latest official iOS release. If the issue is resolved then you can say that the beta build it's currently running caused it. If it happens with the official release then the problem could be more serious and then you should make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store for a remedy.
