Contact name display on ipad for incoming calls

Hello Friends,

i have enabled ipad for incoming calls from my iphone. However when the ipad rings it only displays the number and not the name ( from my contact list ). So i need to check my iphone everytime to identify the callers name.

Wanted to know if this is default or is there any setting involved.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Go to Settings > iCloud and toggle on Contacts.

Your contacts from the iPhone will also sync to iPad. Do the same on the iPhone as well if that was not the case, yet.
