Trying to unlock a ipad 2 A1395 activation locked

Bought a iPad 2 A1395 it's activation locked has number for previous owner but phone is no longer in service ...

I would like to unlock this device I have tried the dns unlock method but I do not think it works arleast for me

Any advice would be appreciated

I'm afraid to say you can't unlock the device without the previous owner doing the activation lock then removing their account and de-activating find my iPhone

Unless you can contact the previous owner then you've bought something you'll never be able to use
