Why have all my notes gone off my ipad 2. 4 years of notes have just disappeared!

Hi just been in to update my notes and all gone. Have never deleted them so why have they just gone!

Welcome to iMore! Make sure you have Notes toggled on in Settings > iCloud. Also make sure that you're looking at your iCloud folder and not another local folder that you've created in your Notes app.
