    I just jail broke my iPad 1. I want three apps: Firefox, iRealPro, and Pandora. I tried to download these, but get a message saying I need a newer version. Isn't that the whole point of jailbreak -- to override the need for a newer iPad version?

    Or -- where else can I download these apps? Thank you!

    Although Jailbreaking is considered the process of removing software restrictions, that doesn't mean that software designed to run on certain hardware specs will work on a jailbroken device with lesser specs.
