someone just returned my ipad 1 , after selling on ebay, they said that they could not copy a movie, can you even copy a movie on the ipad 1

copy a movie ? sounds like they thought they could do something on their end and dont know what they are doing LOL
You can copy movies to a ipad if its the correct format MP4
I would have never authorized the return because that has nothing to do with the item
