How do i fix my frozen iPad

I tried to erase all content and settings from inside my jailbroken iPad 2, it rebooted and is now stuck/frozen on the apple logo screen with a loading bar underneath it which has been showing 0 progress for the last 5 hours. I'm using iOS 8.1.2 and used PP Jailbreak tool to jailbreak it. I already tried holding down holding down my lock and home button to put it into recovery mode but this didn't work. Help please

Try restoring to a backup before the Jailbreak. I recommend using iTunes to receive the oldest copy and attempting to jailbreak as soon as you get your iPad up and running again.
