iPad 2 not working

I had my iPad 2 on this morning and everything was working fine. I put it down on the counter and noticed after about 30 seconds that the screen went blank. Now it won't turn on. I have had it plugged in now for about 15 minutes, hoping that the battery went dead, but it still won't turn on. Any ideas?

Hold in both buttons until the Apple logo comes up and see if that fixes it.
