I can't replace my MacBook with another one because of money but I'm thinking of buying an iPad, my use is basic: email Internet and download pictures from my digital camera. Is there any way I can recover my MacBook 's data from a time machine backup and reverse to iPad?
Thank you

No you can't, they are two different operating systems but if you use iCloud you can get your address book, calendar and iCloud email onto your iPad.

If you put your documents and pics into a cloud service than you can access them. For example: Onedrive.com (together with office 365 you get 1TB of data!, plus then you can can get office on your iPad)
Also others like Dropbox.

The iPad can sync with most email providers either by pop3, IMAP or EAS

No, iOS is a mobile OS, not a full OS like OSx, windows (any version) Not possible. If you want a tablet that it like a computer I would suggest getting a Surface or another windows machine.

I believe windows can load all your files from time machine
