Information iPads in the Store

I think that they have been modified so that the charging port is on the back of the device. Any theories? They aren't plugged in on the bottom.

If they're in some kind of frame, or attached to security tether... power can be built-in to those.

Yes, they are modified so that the charging port is in the back. Apple custom made these iPads for display in Apple Stores. They are really cool if you ever get to see the backside of one.

In the Waikiki apple store one is really loose, but I'd rather not set off the alarm. But it would be cool to see one out to the plastic
